We are in need of 20 volunteers and 30 judges for the day of the event.

Volunteers age 18 and older are needed for unpacking supplies, setup, registration, student escorts, monitoring, directing students, and clean-up activities. There will be two Foundation activity tables and one snack table that will need to be manned.  Volunteers must be available at 7:30 AM to help set-up before the students arrive.  If you are interested in being a Volunteer complete the form using the below link. 

Judges are industry leaders, C-level local trade or business people, media people, etc. and monitors during the building contest.  It is the responsibility of the judge to ensure that each child completes the project entirely on their own.  All judging shall be conducted using official scoring forms, oral interview questions, and other criteria as established.  The forms will be provided the day of the event. Judges are asked and selected by the Block Kids committee.  If interested, contact Monica Robinson at mrobinson@philaflcio.org 

If you have a child or grandchild that would like to participate please complete and submit the Block Kids registration form that can be found on our website.  If you have not participated previously the event is an awesome experience and we are typically completed by noon on Saturday. 

Volunteer RSVPs and Student Registrations ARE DUE BY:  OCTOBER 10, 2024.
