VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION: 2025 SOUTH CAMP
Campers are required to be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian for the first hour of Orientation. We will be meeting at IBEW 98 (please confirm) by 7:45am.
8:00-9:00am will consist of a parent meet & greet, orientation, and group activities. The rest of the day will be filled with First Aid & OSHA Safety Training. We will be disbursing the campers backpacks and supplies before their dismissal back to Girls Inc. at the end of the day.
We would like as much volunteer attendance as possible for orientation day. This will give the campers a chance to become familiarized with the individuals who will have the authority to enforce camp rules and allow the parents to meet the professionals who will be caring for their children.
This day will consist of labor training and activities with Local 332. Volunteers meet at Samuel Staten Jr. Building @ 8:45am.

This day will consist of finishing trades training and activities with DC21. Volunteers meet at Finishing Trades Institute @ 8:45am.

This day will consist of a job site tour with HRP Bellwether. Volunteers meet at 3144 West Passyunk Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19145 at 8:50 AM
The campers will then be bussed (around 11:00) to the Navy Yard for lunch and another job site visit.
This day will consist of electrical training and activities with IBEW 98 in the Navy Yard. Volunteers meet at IBEW 98 at The Navy Yard @ 8:45am.

This day will consist of a live job site tour (location TBD), followed by camp graduation at Sheet Metal Hall. Volunteers meet at job site @ 8:45 am and then head to Sheet Metal Hall.

Parents will be in attendance for graduation, and we will have a guest speaker. Lunch will be provided for everyone. This is a big moment for the campers and we would like to have as much volunteer attendance as possible to show our support!

This day will consist of setting up for the camp graduation and monitoring group activities. Parents will be in attendance, and we will have a guest speaker. Lunch will be provided for everyone.

If you are not able to attend the job site tour in the morning, please register for this event instead of the other.***
